Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
SlopBin is operated by Acacia Services LTD, a private company limited by shares registered in England and Wales under company number 13258630. Registered office: Acacia Services LTD, Bartle House, Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ. By using SlopBin, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service
SlopBin lets browsers, REST clients, and MCP clients create, read, and delete text pastes. Pastes are immutable. To update content, create a replacement paste and share the new URL.
Paste URLs are shareable. Public pastes can be read by anyone with the paste URL or slug. Password-protected pastes also require the paste password chosen at creation.
3. Paid subscriptions
The paid plan is a monthly subscription currently priced at £0.99 per month plus applicable tax/VAT handled by Stripe at checkout. It uses recurring billing until canceled. Stripe processes payment details, invoices, taxes, and subscription billing.
Paid API keys unlock higher paste limits, custom TTL, burn-after- read, and account-managed pastes. Your API key and one-time manage link are sent by email after checkout. Keep them secure.
By subscribing, you ask us to start providing paid access immediately after Stripe confirms checkout. The main characteristics of the paid service are shown on the upgrade page before checkout:GBP monthly subscription pricing, applicable tax at checkout, higher paste limits, custom TTL, burn-after-read, API key access, and account management.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel subscription renewal through Manage billing from the manage page opened by your one-time email link. Manage billing opens the Stripe Customer Portal. The Stripe Customer Portal is where billing changes and cancellation happen. Portal cancellation ends renewal at the current billing-period end unless Stripe shows a different effective date.
Account deletion is separate from billing cancellation. Deleting your account from the manage page immediately deletes SlopBin-held account data and account-managed pastes, clears your manage session, and attempts to cancel linked Stripe billing.
SlopBin does not provide prorated refunds by default. Refunds may be provided where required by law, including applicable consumer cancellation rights, or where Acacia Services LTD chooses to correct a billing or service error. If you are a UK consumer and you cancel within any statutory cooling-off period that applies, we may deduct an amount for paid access already supplied after you asked us to start service immediately. For billing support, email support@slopbin.dev.
If you want to exercise a statutory consumer cancellation right, you can email support@slopbin.dev with your name, subscription email address, a clear statement that you cancel the contract, and the date. You may use this wording: "I cancel my SlopBin paid subscription contract."
5. What you may not post
You may not use SlopBin to share:
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Personal data of others without a lawful basis or consent, including passwords, government identifiers, payment card numbers, health data, or private contact details.
- Malware, exploits, credential theft material, or attack tooling.
- Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, our jurisdiction, or any jurisdiction where we are legally required to act.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexual content involving minors. We remove and report this material where legally required.
- Spam, harassment, threats, or content used to evade abuse controls.
6. Abuse and takedowns
We may remove any paste, suspend paid access, rotate credentials, rate limit requests, block traffic, or preserve records when needed to operate the service, protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, respond to DMCA notices, or enforce these terms.

7. Account security
You are responsible for API keys, delete tokens, paste passwords, and one-time manage links you receive. Lost paste passwords cannot be recovered because SlopBin does not store raw paste passwords. Paid users can use credential recovery to resend the latest recoverable API key and one-time manage link to the subscription email address.
8. No warranty
SlopBin is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data persistence, delivery of emails, recovery of lost secrets, or fitness for any purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including statutory consumer rights.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlopBin, Acacia Services LTD, and their operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost business opportunities.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms. If a change materially affects paid subscriptions, we will aim to give reasonable notice through the product, email, or account management flow.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you additional rights. UK consumers may bring proceedings in the courts that apply under UK consumer law.
