Lost Password

Password-protected pastes require the password chosen at creation. SlopBin does not store raw passwords, so a lost paste password cannot be recovered.

Missing Or Invalid Paste Password

Public pastes can be read from the paste URL. Password-protected REST reads must send the password as X-Paste-Password.

Expired Or Consumed Paste

Free pastes expire after 24 hours. Paid burn-after-read pastes are deleted after the first successful read. Expired, deleted, and consumed pastes all return 404.

Invalid Paste Token

Deletion requires the delete_token returned when the paste was created, sent as X-Delete-Token. Paste content cannot be edited; create a replacement paste and share the new URL instead.

API Key Rotation

Paid users can rotate API keys from the manage page opened by the one-time link in the welcome or recovery email. Rotation invalidates the old API key.

Billing Recovery

Use credential recovery to resend the latest paid API key and a one-time manage link. The page does not reveal whether an email has an active subscription.

Cancel Subscription

Open the one-time manage link from your welcome or recovery email, then use Manage billing to open the Stripe Customer Portal. Canceling there stops subscription renewal. Deleting your SlopBin account is a separate destructive action that deletes SlopBin-held account data and account-managed pastes.

Billing support and refund requests go to support@slopbin.dev. Refunds are handled under the Terms and any consumer rights that apply.

Abuse Reports

Use the Report link on a paste page or email abuse@slopbin.dev. Do not include decrypted paste content in operator notes or report metadata.
